36th Annual Wiley A. Branton Issues Symposium, Subpart Conferences

October 16 -18, 2025

New York, NY

The Wiley A. Branton Issues Symposium is where history and the hard questions collide. Named for the legendary civil rights lawyer who never blinked in the face of injustice, this Symposium refuses to play it safe. We take on the issues shaping our communities, from the courtrooms to the boardrooms, from the ballot box to the bank vault, and we do it with unapologetic clarity. The Symposium is a space where law meets labor, where real property meets real power, where General Counsels sit shoulder to shoulder, and where conversations about equity turn into blueprints for generational prosperity. The Symposium is also a working forum. Each year it produces white papers and issue reports that capture the insights of the sessions and create a record of solutions, strategies, and calls to action. These publications extend the impact of the conversations well beyond the event and ensure that the legacy of Wiley A. Branton continues to inform both policy and practice.
